Why on earth would we include our honeymoon photos here? Well why the heck not? Think about it - if we didn't, next time we see you we'd only bore you to death showing you pictures of us in a pool, by a pool, near a mountain, on a mountain, up a mountain etc etc etc. Far better for all concerned that we put them here! Besides, it's all part of the same big adventure from our point of view.

We went straight to Gatwick from the ceilidh (pausing only to get changed) . Whilst the guests continued to prance around the hall like mad things, we were whisked away to the Meridian where we got about 4 hrs kip sleep checking in for our flight to Bordeaux. After some failed attempts to negotiate the hire car through Bordeaux's road works we headed straight to St Vincent where we were had hired a country house, Le Pastre, for the week. We spent the week playing in the sun and exploring the worlds most famous wine region. We will be going back soon!

The following saturday we drove down through the Pyrenees, through Andorra, into Catalunya and into the mountains to Coll-De-Nargo. We arrived in the middle of a thunder storm to the most amazing views of the mountains. We'll do well to find a swimming pool with better scenery!  The local restaurant had a whole page of Rioja's on its wine list. Needless to say we did our best to partake of the local culture.

To top it all off the weather was 35 degs plus the whole time!
